OPRE SOLUTIONS BECOMES OPRE GROUP AS IT EXPANDS AND LAUNCHES NEW SERVICES ACROSS THE LIVING SECTOR

OPRE Solutions, the operational real estate partner for the rental living sector, has seen a year of accelerated growth as it has capitalised on unprecedented market demand for institutional grade operational advice and gears up for further expansion.

As of today OPRE Solutions officially becomes OPRE Group, providing a number of distinct and expanded institutional-grade offerings to Developers, Investors, Lenders and Operators across the rental living sector.

Over the last 18 months the leadership team of Brian Welsh, Andrew Jamieson and Robin Bond, have grown the team to 13 specialists who have expertise in asset management, transactions, due diligence, finance, analysis & reporting and operations. Key hires include Suzanne Yoshikawa as Head of Commercial Operations and Projects, Stuart Bridge as Head of Asset Management, Chris Stead as Head of Strategic Partnerships and Stuart Cribb as Head of Revenue Strategy & Operating performance.

As a result, the business has become a leading partner to clients in the sector with a much broader service offering than its origination as a specialist investment advisor. It has advised on the biggest PBSA transaction of 2025 with the acquisition of a large portfolio of assets on behalf of a global investor in its first foray into the UK student accommodation sector. OPRE advised on the transaction, due diligence, refinance and is retained as asset manager across the eight assets. The business is also working with a high profile Build to Rent portfolio and a wide array of other clients across the UK and Europe.

In response to the growing need for energy solutions – energy comprises up to 40% of operational costs in the sector – OPRE has also just launched a strategic energy consulting business and the Group will also launch other specialist capital and operational services later this year as it continues its strategic growth plan.

Set up in 2023 OPRE was designed to be an institutional-grade advisory partner to clients in the rental living sector, offering unique operational real estate advice, drawing on the founders’ 75+ years in the industry. Today the business advises all stakeholders in the sector across the full lifecycle of portfolios and assets, to drive performance and create value through its innovative and unique array of skills and experience.

Brian Welsh, CEO of OPRE Group said: “We are incredibly proud of the business we have built and the diverse portfolio of clients we advise in the UK and across Europe. This repositioning felt like a natural evolution as we have outgrown the original business offer extensively. As a result we felt that OPRE Group better reflected the broad range of services we now offer across the sector. We have also built a leading team of talented specialists to advise on all activities across the rental living sector. We are very excited about the future and are currently working on a number of new initiatives and services that will launch later this year.”
